Sandy Hook lawsuit dismissed - Some sanity in court.
Finally, some sanity in th legal world. The Sandy Hook Lawsuit had been previously ok'd in court under the auspices of a legal argument that said the semi-autos used in the Sandy Hook shooting should have been known to be harmful to the public and therefore exempt from the Federal 'Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act' (PLCAA). This was a pretty weak argument and if you read the law it is actually intended to protect manufacturers from this very type of lawsuit. The previous allowance of the lawsuit to continue was a travesty an willfull disregard of the law. I am glad that law has finally prevailed.
